Glue injector, as the name suggests is an apparatus use to inject glues. Injectors are use to apply glue in small cracks where glue can not reach easily.

Glue injector may come in two types. One is the syringe type. This type of injector comes with a plastic syringe body and needle at the tip. It easily injects glue with slight pressure given with the thumb on the plunger. The working of the glue injector of this type is similar to the working of a medical syringe. This prevents glue from drying.

Some of the glue injectors come with very long needles to reach places where ordinary injectors cannot go. These are suitable for applying glue in to cervices, grooves, and other hard-to-reach spots. More over high pressure glue injectors are available now. In this type of injector, finger grips are elongated to accommodate two or more fingers for applying additional force. It also has a novel tapered nozzle in front of the glue injector to receive glue from the barrel and dispense glue through the nozzle under pressure. This is very convenient when one of the joints has to be repaired. A hole van be drilled in to the joint and then placing the tapered end of the nozzle in the hole and then forcing glue in to the hole, this enables the glue to flow into the broken joint.

Overall, glue injectors are very useful for repairing furniture, hard wood floors, particle board, painting cracks in woods, for wood craft work, etc. this is very useful to do simple repairs at home ourselves. These days it is difficult to find laborers to do repair jobs. Even if you find one they charge a lot. So glue injectors prove to be very useful for repairs.
